Today was a gorgeous day. The sun was bright and the air was crisp. We took advantage by being outdoors most of the day.
My littlest one helped me in the garden. It felt good to be outside in the dirt, finally reaping the fruits of our labor. We picked veggies, and then cooked ’em up for lunch!
Our world is so loud these days. Technology is constantly calling us. So a morning in the quiet was perfect. It helped me to focus on the Lord as I pulled the weeds, listened to the birds, and watched my son pick veggies. Each time I marveled in how God has made these once dead seeds, alive again!
Miracles in the garden. Right in front of us. More spectacular than any of the latest gadgets this world offers.
Life is truly beautiful.
How are you {un}plugging this summer? I encourage you to take time to disconnect and just be still in the quiet. Listen for the Lord. He is there in the midst of all the distractions. He is near.
