This fall I will have a 5th grader, 3rd grader, 1st grader, and a pre-schooler!
I am really excited about the new year!
It seems like just yesterday I was struggling with the decision to homeschool, and here we are beginning our 6th year! God is so good!
I have been finalizing all of our plans and here is what I have so far. I have changed and updated from my last post on planning for fall…see what a difference a month makes! 🙂
Besides life learning everyday, this is the formal work I have chosen:
Science- Although I love Apologia Science, we are taking a break to use Sandi Queen’s Discovering Nature books for one year. I am ordering Discovering Nature Series: A Nature Walk With Aunt Bessie.
History- Continue TruthQuest Volume II. We will start with pioneers and Indians. We will also create a notebook from A Journey Through Learning’s Binder Builder.
Artist Study- Rembrandt, using Simply Charlotte Mason’s new Picture Portfolios. Really excited about this!
Geography- Ann Voskamp’s A Child’s Geography, Volume I
Spanish
I am also thinking of purchasing this to supplement math.
