OK, I made this up yesterday during my crazy week. I had chicken breasts in the freezer and didn’t know what to do with them.
I ended up putting them in the crockpot all day with 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce (leftover from another meal), a can of crushed tomatoes, and Trader Joe’s Taco Seasoning.
I cooked the chicken until it was nice and tender and shredded in the sauce. We served it in tortilla wraps with toppings: cheddar cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and rice and beans. YUMMY!
Everyone was happy with it, which is always a nice ending to a rough day….
Anyone have any other things they have made up on a whim that go over well? I’d love to hear your simple meal ideas!
