Snapshots of their life now…
someday they will be snapshots of a distant memory
I give them boundaries now…so they live in freedom later
I give them a safe nest now, knowing they will have wings later…
I give them love now, so they will always carry it with them…
I give them prayers now…so they will always be carried wherever they go…
I give them limits now…so they will grow into a future that is without limits!
I give them Jesus now, so they will always know, deep down…the Truth
They will grow, they will go…and that is their purpose.
And mine. To help them.
Not to make them into what I want them to be…
But what HE wants them to be
It’s exiting…seeing their passions unfold, watching them change, and evolve…
Its exciting thinking about where God will take them, and what they will be…
If He takes them across an ocean, or just down the road…
They’re only ours for a moment, but they are His forever.
And I trust in Him with His plans for their lives
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
