In a period of 12 hours last week, my little country church experienced…
A Wedding
A Funeral
A Death
A Birth
Almost too much to process.
Yet we know that our God is sovereign.
He showed us his power in those 12 hours.
He showed us the full circle of life in a short time.
We must open our eyes everyday to His power. He is so big, far bigger than anything we can imagine.
The same God who parted the Red Sea, who displayed HImself in miracles, who created the entire Universe, is still active today…
But too easily, we forget…
And we make Him so small.
Last week, rocked my world.
But I think God intends to do that sometimes.
Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face.
Job 13:15
So we can see His might.
I am inspired more than ever to Simply Live…For HIM.
And Him alone.
Not for what the world thinks of me. Not for what I think of me….but for HIM.
Getting rid of distractions. Physical, mental, all things that take my mind off of Him.
I crave simplicity more than ever…because so much of what is here on earth distracts us from the eternal.
Less of me, more of Him…
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
may the name of the LORD be praised.”
