Each day I will be writing about a simple way to celebrate the season. To focus on family, joy, and memories, without the elaborate extras that can bring added stress. Simple can be more meaningful if it gives us more time to focus on the huge GIFT we are awaiting-Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Today I will introduce you to a simple recipe, which is incredibly yummy!

Oh my. I have found the best cookie recipe ever, on Pinterest {of course!}
So easy, so incredibly tasty.
I love simple recipes. Especially at this time of year, when I would rather be spending time with the family, pondering the great event of Christmas…
While I love cooking, these cookies are a wonderful go-to recipe in a pinch… you won’t be in the kitchen long at all! I brought them to our church’s Christmas brunch and so many people asked for the recipe.
The recipe is not my own, but comes from sixsisterstuff.
Simply combine all but the candies until a nice mixed dough forms. Drop the dough into balls on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 7 minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK. As soon as they come out of the oven, place an unwrapped candy on top. Once all of the candies are placed on the cookies, go back and spread it around…at this point the candy will have begun melting.
Cool and enjoy these delicious, simple treats!
