Heard this week…Simple sounds that bring so much joy…
Birds chirping…early morning songs- I wake to pray and they praise right along with me. Such a beautiful sound.
Belly laughs- water fights in the yard bring about the best laughter!
Children’s prayers- there’s nothing like seeing your boy come to you for prayer, then praying with you to ease his fears.
Rain- Oh, we have had some pounding rain in the evening, and the sound of it is just mesmerizing. There is so much joy in the simple things. In the age of technology where everyone’s joy seems to come from the world, I am finding so much joy in the simple.
Each day on my facebook page I have been sharing a simple joy for the day, and readers have been sharing theirs. Won’t you join us?
This video is incredible! I was reminded of it as I was writing about the sounds of creation:

Together they are a work-at-home family pursuing a simple life with purpose and, above all, seeking to glorify God in all they do.
