Today let’s talk simple wrapping.
I am the World’s.Worst.Present.Wrapper.
EVER.
Seriously.
I once worked in a Hallmark store when I was a teenager, and after wrapping presents once, was told I was not allowed to wrap anymore. I think I cost them way too much in paper{I never know how much to cut, and always cut way too much and have all this excess.}
So, when it comes to wrapping Christmas presents I always do my best, but never have these fancy or pretty packages. After all, the paper comes off so fast, does it really matter? 🙂
Yet, I do like seeing the creative ways out there and do want to make the person I am giving the gift to, to feel special. That I took time on their gift…
So this year, after swooning over so many great ideas on Pinterest (which by the way, I am in love with), I decided to try some cute, but very simple wrapping ideas.
I bought some plain brown paper, and figured I could try to personalize it by adding some leftover scrapbooking cutouts from several years ago.
I wrapped the gifts in brown paper, and then added some cute little cut outs about family, or as gift tags. I tied a ribbon, and they look great.
For those hard to wrap neatly gifts {remember about the excess paper?} I simply bought decorative boxes, and put the gifts inside. NO WRAPPING needed! I added a ribbon and a gift tag and it is set.
