Pursuit of Proverbs 31

I have had the opportunity to work under Amy Bayliss at both Heart of the Matter Online and Homemaker’s Challenge. She is wise and certainly a great teacher. Naturally I was very excited when she released her ebook, “Pursuit of Proverbs 31.”  I received a copy of this book for the purpose of review.

I dove into this book and quickly realized this was me.  How many times have I tried to be that Proverbs 31 woman, yet feeling like a failure?  This book is freeing in that Amy teaches what it really means to be in Pursuit of Proverbs 31– and it is not what you think!

All of my readers know my quest for simplicty, and being able to pursue Jesus first and not a to-do list of things we “should” be doing, is truly wonderful.

I can’t even explain in words how much some of the chapters in this book really spoke to my heart. I couldn’t stop reading the chapter on ministry (A Woman of Ministry) and the very last one, “Matters of the Soul- When you finally come  to the end of yourself, you find Him.”

There is so much to say about this book, but I will leave you with this:

Get the book. You will see Proverbs 31 in a whole new light, and you will be free to pursue Him, your first love. Don’t miss the opportunity to gain so much wisdom from Amy’s journey in Pursuit of Proverbs 31.
