As my son is approaching graduation day it is very easy for me to lament and get caught up in the worries that I may not have taught him enough or prepared him enough. But we sat down together recently and I explained to him that I learned more in my second half of life than in my first, and certainly more than in my years of traditional schooling. I reminded him that I gave him the foundation and tools to learn but from here on out, his real education is just beginning. For anyone who needs some encouragement about homeschooling or life after graduation, listen in…let’s look at the truth of education for life.
