Heart of the Matter Online Conference Coming April 12-14!

HOTM Button
I am so excited to be speaking again at this Spring’s Heart of the Matter Online Conference.  I have been blessed abundantly to write for Heart of Matter Online as well as speak at their conference in the past.  I have also been blessed to attend these conferences and glean so much wisdom from fellow homeschooling moms.
Have you attended one in the past? Then you know what I mean.  There is no driving to a large convention hall with toddlers in tow, no traffic, no lines to get in, no packing a zillion coloring books and activities so that you can actually hear the speakers!  Nope, just grab your cup of coffee, (maybe pop on a video for the little ones 😉  and then be prepared to be encouraged, refreshed, and renewed. After all, at this point in the year that is what we all need desperately!
I love encouraging other homeschooling families out there. I am right there in the trenches with you everyday, and I am passionate about walking alongside each other on this journey.  God has taught me so much through homeschooling and I love sharing my stories (the good and bad!)
On April 13, I will be presenting my workshop titled, “Taking the “School” Out of Homeschool: Homeschooling as a Lifestyle:”
Here is the description of the workshop:
Often when we try to reproduce “school” at home we fail. Homeschool is about so much more than just “doing school.” We have the opportunity each day to disciple our children and teach them about the things that matter most-for eternity.  The homeschooling lifestyle is full of freedom and joy, once we release ourselves from the burden of what it “should be like.”  Join me as we pursue God above all else in our day, while fostering an excitement for learning!

So what are you waiting for? Register now. It is only $9.95 for the entire conference and access to all mp3’s after the conference is over!
