Todays is Mentoring Mamas {Monday}!
So today I am encouraging you all with how we as sisters in Christ can move mountains if we pray together. I have a wonderful group of ladies that I pray with once a week. It is God’s power coming together through beautiful friendship.
What if we spent as much time in the Word or praying as we do on so many other things?
For instance…
as much time as we are on facebook
as much time as we spent watching the Oscars
as much time as we spend worrying
as much time as we spend shopping
as much time as we spend on Pinterest
as much time as we spend reading other books
as much time as we spend texting or chatting on the phone
as much time as we spend complaining
as much time as we spend planning our future….
He is the one who plans our future.
He is the one we should run to- not just in our “spare” time but all the time.
He is the one who will fill us.
I spend time on many of the things on this list. I have been thinking about how I spend my time and want to use my time more wisely -pursuing Him.
Imagine…since He says:
Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Ephesians 3:20
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Psalm 100:4
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Matthew 18:19-20
“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or
three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Imagine if His people come together and pray.
Imagine if we as Christians spent our time so focused on Him, as much as we do so many other trivial things.
We could truly move mountains. I know when we pray we are putting Him first and aligning with HIs will. It is not about coming and asking for what we want, but being in communion with Him and His will. Growing closer to Him.
We can go to the Creator of the Universe at any moment, and yet we walk away from Him
Imagine, how our relationship with Him will grow if we spend more time with Him? And if we pray with others, it is multiplied!
And in the end He will be glorified for our efforts!
Let’s all run to Him first in our day…be accountable for our time….and seek Him first.
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
