The weather here today is perfect…sunny, 70’s, and delightful! We took the opportunity to get outside and do our work in the fresh air. Grace read in the hammock, Luke sat at the picnic table and did his math page (we are on the LAST lesson of Math U See for the year!), and John joined us in everything. Later we played a geography game, tossing our blow up globe and naming continents, oceans, etc. Luke also read to us in the hammock. In between lessons, there was lots of running, dandelion picking, bird watching, and just plain enjoying our day outside.
I love this time of year. Everything is blooming, everyone feels more energized, and we can see God in nature…
“For the winter is passed. The rain is over and gone. The flowers are springing up. And the time of the singing of the birds has come.” Song of Solomon 2:11-12
